I adopted Murphy for the day! I picked him up and then got the kids I baby sit! We played at the park with him and brought him home to have some treats
Emily, Sophia, Sofia and I adopted a dog for the day! It was so so fun! I always love doing this every semester. He was so energetic!!
I was able to clean up around the lot and paint a mural inside for families to see. It felt amazing to be a part of that!
I helped the Cobb county justice center. We cleaned up the trash outside the lot. Then, we went inside and painted an amazing mural.
I made 3 Valentine’s Day cards for the senior citizens. It was so fun and rewarding!
I love this! I did it last semester and it’s so rewarding and fun. I was able to adopt a cute dog named benjamin for the whole day!! He was so sweet. I took him to the dog park and grabbed lunch with him
We played one game of baseball with the children from Horizon Fields. After the game, we went and helped set up a Mother Son Lock In camp. We put games together, set up the Wii, made arts and crafts, and so much more!
This day I was able to work with the kids in the puzzel room. We did crosswords, puzzels, and drawings. I helped the students with whatever they needed and enjoyed spending time in that room!
I was placed in the sewing classroom. I helped keep the kids entertained while the teacher was sewing with the selected kids. I played uno, chess, and more interactive games to keep the kids occupied.
Today, I was in the Culinary Arts classroom. We taught the students how to make cheesy eggs and toast. I was able to interact with the students and help them through this process. We also discussed the spellings of words like kneading and whisk.
