For this service we have put the “Stay Warm” bags to the residences urban ministry and the visitors at the Hope Center. We also gave out hot dogs and baked beans. It was great to see all the smiles, and hearing all the thank yous. It was also very rewarding to see many people walking around with “Feed the Streetz” bags and wearing the beanies and gloves we packed for them.
I ordered, sorted, organized and packed “Stay Warm” bags.we packed many winter and snack items for those who need it. Packed items like beanies, gloves, docs, granola bars, tuna, etc.
I help serve in the food pantry by keeping the flow of the pantry moving smoothly. I also help people get the grocery items of their choosing.
I had a great time volunteering at the Urban Ministry food pantry. I helped service the community members pick up groceries and other food items. With Food stamps being taken away, it was a great feeling helping those who are affected.
We sat in front of the NCAT student center collecting canned goods and non-perishables.
