It was great working with the kids on the tennis courts and working on their volleying skills. We had first worked on hitting the ball from side to side with backhand and forehand hits and after we worked on continuing the ralley.
We worked with the STEM program on teaching the kids how to code. It was interesting seeing how eager they were to learn. As they were learning so was I.
It was great working with the kids on the court helping them develop their skills to turn into a better player. We worked on their forehand and their backhand. It was just a great experience working with kids and seeing how much joy they have when playing sports.
It was great working with the kids in the tutoring side of this organization. This week we are teaching them how to code from Kindergarten all the way to fifth grade. It was wonderful experience being thier tutor.
Today I had experience what this organization is really about. They devote their time to help young children grow into a true tennis player. I had watched primarily today but it was interesting how they use their backgrounds to help teach the children how to improve themselves at the sport. Overall it was a great experience today in watching how this organization helps build children through the great role models around.
I went there and met the people that run the organization and they are very kind, sweet hearted people. It was just my luck that the rain had started. Even though we didn't do any activities I have many more days signed up and really excited to volunteer with them.
