After being gone over winter break and storming through the storms(lol), me and my little finally got to see one another. She's like my mini me, and I enjoy spending time with her doing things we both like. Today, I thought we would relax and not focus so much on school. We watched one of my favorite coming-of-age movies from when I was in elementary school and did our nails! It was the perfect way for us to just enjoy each other's company, catch up, and have fun being girls!

This was such a wonderful experience! I've done a few sessions with the Out of the Garden Project. This was one to remember! I spent my Saturday morning giving back to the community at the mobile food pantry. 🌟 It's always a blessing to lend a helping hand and share a smile with those in need. I met some amazing ladies from NCAT as well! Together, we can make a difference, one step at a time. ❤️

This was such a great experience for me! I went to Thales Academy for "Grinch Day" and helped out the teachers around the classroom with their third-grade students. All the kids got the opportunity not to wear uniforms and show up in their cutest holiday outfits! We watched The Grinch, listened to music, and did some fun crafts to keep them stimulated amongst all the fun! I stayed with the kids from right before lunchtime through dismissal, and I hope to return for their Grinch Day next year!

This was my last meeting with my little for the year 2024! I am an out-of-state student. With the semester ending, we had to end a little early as well. Today was a calm day because she'd had a pretty exciting day before I came, filled with crafts and goodies with her peers. We read a few chapters of our continued series, "Thea Stilton & the Spanish Dance Mission," while she colored in her Encanto activity book! Can't wait to get back to our weekly visits after this break!

My friend Stacy Velez and I really enjoyed ourselves today. We sorted through yams and filled boxes with love and nonperishable items to be sent to those in need around the holidays!

Today was a great day with my little sister. I came in a little earlier today to spend some extra time with her. We ate lunch together, and then during her recess, we read a book that I brought in together. Learning, growing, and spending quality girl time together are my favorites!

So excited to see my little today! We caught up after school being out for Election Day, and read a new book!

We watched a spooky movie for the last day of October and had some fun snacks. I brought my little a BOO basket filled with coloring activities and supplies! So much spooky fun!

Another great afternoon with my little! We made some Squishmallow slime and listened to Olivia Rodrigo. While making our slime, she mentioned that we had on the same shoes, Doc Martens! Just in different colors. I guess we were meant to meet!
