The experience of reading a science book for kids was fun and enjoyable and rewarding. So the content involved simplifying complex scientific concepts into engaging language suitable for kids…which encouraged creative expression and thoughtful presentation.

Reading the book aloud to children was particularly fun as it reminded me of when I was an after school teacher and camp counselor, as their enthusiasm and curiosity reflected the success of the content.

Engaging with young kids in this way gave a sense of shared knowledge. Overall, the process showed me the importance of making science accessible and fun for young minds through storytelling.

Writing this book in my bio class was beneficial. Firstly I found it fun using my name, but this story book helped me simplify a complex concept like evolution. Secondly, this book enhanced my engagement in the class. It helped me connect real world to fiction. Furthermore, the use of a storybook promoted my thinking by highlighting connections between biology and other fields such as literature and anthropology. It also gave me a positive homework vibe as this was more creative than semester one.

In summary, incorporating a storybook into my college biology class helped my learning experience, improved my understanding of scientific concepts, and helped my engagement and critical thinking within the field of biology. When it comes to givepulse, I found this kind of confusing and think it should kept to Canva.
