I've learned a lot about volunteering with rise up community farm when it comes to planet, and to maintain them and take good care of them. The activity and task that I did today was pulling weeds out so it can help the planet grow better. I worked with some of the host, and I worked with some of my classmates that was there. We worked so well together pulling weeds. We split all the task so everybody can focus on their part to help it get done, and finishing picking the weeds. This experience really brought me back to my values with being outside, and enjoying in the moment while also helping a planet that gives us food grow better. This organization's mission really connected with my due to being outside and help with planets so they can grow more and more everyday. My overall experience with working with this organization was so much fun I had a great time working with everyone, and being able to help in the community farm. I just enjoy being outside and getting connect with nature, and not inside all the time at my laptop or on my phone. I really enjoyed working with everybody, and I had so much fun.
