    My close family friend Riley Paul offered me the opportunity to volunteer in her 5th grade highly capable classroom. Here I was able to observe her teaching style and assist her by providing support for her students. This specific school was very diverse excelling in their special education and highly capable classrooms allowing me to gain a broader perspective overall.
