Jackson Stow

I took part in volunteering with two miracle league games on Saturday the 28th. For both games I was buddied up with a player and got to guide them through the game. I threw the ball with them in the field and ran the bases with them when it was their turn to hit. I noticed how happy everybody was that was helping out as well as how much fun the players had. I have a passion for helping kids with disabilities because I have grown up with a brother with special needs. This has driven me to volunteer in these events as much as I can because I want to make a difference in their lives. I learned that this organization cares about the community and about kids who have disabilities. Volunteering with them showed me how many people in this community want to make an impact and make someone's day. I will definitely continue to be involved with Miracle League Wilmington in the future because I really enjoy helping out.
