    Thrift Store Book/Media Volunteer

    I had a lot of fun helping out at the Northwest Arkansas Women's Shelter Thrift Store. I helped organize clothes and straighten up and sort books.

    I was able to volunteer through the Arkansas Alumni Association to help out with the Mullins Library Grand Reopening. I would say my volunteering helped out the library staff, the community, and the students and faculty at the University of Arkansas. I had a lot of fun helping out at this event, and one takeaway from this experience was I realized how much time, effort, and planning goes on behind the scenes to make a big event like that happen.
