I volunteered at the Kappa Delta house by dressing up in costume to help pass out candy and playing various party games with the girl scouts. The girl scouts benefited from this experience as they were able to bond with each other and their college mentors while having a fun and unique trick-or-treat experience. I learned how even a small act, like being willing to do a silly dance, can bring so much joy and just how much it can mean to someone so young.

I participated in the Fall Dinner clean up process
I participated in the Make A Difference Day at Potter's House Warehouse on September 6th. I sorted donations into boxes for organization (ex: Winter, Housing, Health Products, etc.) and to help clear the backlog. Potter's House benefited from this as they were able to get through more of their donation backlog and have room for more donations. I took away from this experience the power of teamwork and how a massive task can be completed quickly and efficiently with lots of hardworking people. I also took away how giving a community we are in Fayetteville and how we all help our community in some extraordinary ways.
I had a wonderful experience volunteering with the Miracle League on 4/13. I worked for three hours at three different games as a buddy. As a buddy, I would work with one active player in each game and help them get ready to bat, run the bases, and play in the outfield. I intend on returning this upcoming weekend to volunteer again after having such a fun time this past Saturday.
Was wonderful
