On Friday, November 15th, my lab partners and I volunteered at Bread for the City, a food donation center dedicated to supporting the community. We assisted by sorting and bagging produce, as well as stocking shelves. It was a rewarding experience, especially as we approached Thanksgiving, and I was grateful for the opportunity to contribute to such a caring and compassionate organization.

I went to the Dr. Charles R. Drew blood donation center where the nursing staff provided excellent care, ensuring my safety and well-being throughout the process. They took the time to ensure I ate before my blood draw and maintained a clean and sterile environment, demonstrating a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.
