Helped SHPE make gorditas at their stand. Had a lot of fun with this community.

I got the opportunity to volunteer with the World Squirrel event at JB and Johnelle Hunt Nature Center. I spent the first half by the archery area, helping kids with fishing and slingshot activities. I got to help kids learn about the local fish that are here in Arkansas. During the second half of my shift I got to help guide traffic at a bus stop. This was an amazing event and it was wonderful to see so many families spend the day together.
I got the opportunity to help clean up trash at the Hotz park for Earth Day. It was fun cleaning with my fellow path scholars and it was great making a difference.
I am happy to donate and give back to people in need!
I helped out for the first night of the Honors College Path Program Interview weekend. I was a part of the clean-up crew, which is meant to clean up the meals from the night and then set things up for the morning crew. I also got the opportunity to stay for the Game Night event to help the newcomers feel comfortable with the interview process and share my experiences with them. Overall, it was a great way for me to give back to the program that has helped me, and now I can pass down my knowledge to the new upcoming path scholars.
I got the opportunity to vote for the primary election. I had a busy day scheduled for me so I had to drive to a voting location in Lowell once it opened early that morning. It felt good being able to use my right to vote.
I got the opportunity to help set up the Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families annual Soup Sunday fundraiser. It was so much fun getting to know so many local restaurants and learn about how much of an impact they have on the area.
I donated 21 cans of canned beans
I helped separate the green tagged clothing from the rest of the items. The green tag items were the ones on sale for the day. Great work experience with people there ready to answer any questions or concerns I may have
I volunteered at the Plaza de las Americas with the Honors College. I helped make and pass out mangonadas, which were very refreshing considering how warm it was that day. It was great for me to see so many people lined up to try these drinks.
