Zeta Tau Alpha Directors, while on our retreat, participated in the purpose brands 414 (beautiful lives/thrift out) steaming and hanging up clothing items for the new men's clothing store opening soon.
ZTA and KA Krawfish boil security team! Making sure people who are eating have wristbands.
Made 4 port pillows that zta will donate to an oncology clinic for cancer patients!
My experience at Zeta Tau Alpha’s King of Pink philanthropy event was super impactful helping with the security team and making sure there was no loitering at this event to help raise money for breast cancer awareness and education.
So much fun connecting with new friends and helping support the community by making valentines cards!!! I loved this event and had the best time.
As director of member enrichment, I have collectively scheduled meetings with my committee. We have had eight complete meetings done by the end of this semester. I spend time before and after collecting notes from our meetings and what we would need in the upcoming month and weeks ahead. I have been at every event that my committee has hosted and helped set up and clean after. I have attended round tables for Panhellenic as a representative from my committee. I have also attended all director meetings after chapter. I have taken the time to go out and buy supplies for every sisterhood and event that we have put on as Member Enrichment. I have spent time planning the service event where I had to collect port pillows each day from members and track who has completed what. I have spent time planning and prepping for earth day sisterhood, zta gym workout sisterhood, morale water bottle decorating sisterhood, black history month sisterhood, and ZTA Day planning that went on for over a month.
Helped with PNM move in! This was so fun to be able to get the freshman excited for their college life! I helped move stuff into their dorms and met a lot of new people while doing so. This is such a good way to help the community of the University of Arkansas and make peoples day by offering a helping hand!
I cut and donated 8 inches of my hair during work week!! This was an amazing experience to give back and be a part of something bigger than myself. I love that we get to contribute to wigs being made for those who need my hair more than I did myself.
I love being able to take a swab and become a possible match as a donor for NMDP! What a great and easy way to give back!
