It was refreshing to see the community of Hoover Alabama coming together to serve the community. I wanted to find volunteer opportunities closer to my home area and I was astounded by the amount of donations given from the Hoover community to help those in need. There is no food waste as any spoiled food is donated to farms and given to the farm animals.
