Volunteering at Martha’s Table at CW Harris during Halloween, I helped hand out fresh fruits and vegetables and interacted with the children. It was rewarding to see their excitement and curiosity about healthy foods. This experience connects to STEM because nutrition and healthy eating are closely tied to biology and health sciences. Helping students understand the importance of food reinforced how science can impact daily life, and it inspired me to continue supporting programs that promote health and learning in the community.
