This session was very helpful. Even though I am already in A&P 1, Mr. Hubley offered very good advice I think every student preparing for their science prerequisites should hear. I think the most helpful strategy for succeeding in A&P is definitely having a passion for science, practicing good time management skills, and always pacing yourself; I really resonate with Mr. Hubley's quote, "It is better to finish good than to finish faster." When I have time after exams, I will definitely check out the website he recommended for A&P students and TEAS practice tests, Science with Susanna. I love Mr. Hubley's personality and his attitude brightened up how hard these science courses are.

I learned during the presentation that the radiography program is accredited by the JRCERT. My favorite thing about radiography is that it's a baseline program I can go into radiation therapy or other advanced modalities within medical imaging. I thought the career section about PACS was an interesting pathway to go into.
I also learned that the TEAS deadline is April 1st. Ultimately, I was very appreciative of Ms. Nicole Stubbs and the program director, Suzanne McCarthy, for answering all of our questions, as well as Mona Weber for answering questions in the chatbox.
The town hall meeting Owl Alert keeps students on campus safe. I used it, but I didn't know all the features I could use to help keep everyone safe! I was also glad to see the mental health director as she spoke about the different supports the college has, like Auberry and UWell-telehealth. I didn't know the campus had wellness vending machines; I like how the prices are affordable for students. I am also excited to see the new mobile Owl Market. I really like how our college thinks about the students.
I feel grateful for Michael Barnette being the speaker in this mini-session. I learned so much about stress management and his strategies for building up my mental health. I really appreciated when he began to speak about struggles being a shared experience because it resonated with me. Thanks to this session, I recognize I had warning signs I was unaware my body was sending me because I kept stressing about my future.
I attended the GivePulse Training because as a returning scholar, I wanted to refresh myself with the program and learn about events. I’m glad I did because Mr.Elio gave some great tips.
I've attended the Refresh Session and took notes on what are the expectations for returning promise scholars and new changes to the way the program will be running moving forward. For example, there are changes on how many give pulse hours can be earned for certain events. I am grateful that all my concerns have been answered by Elio Cruz and Chantia Sharber.
I attended the Study Hall at the UTC campus in room140. I was very appreciative of the writing assistance and math tutor. This was a great atmosphere to work on my essay and I've never felt so much support before.
I learned about the difference between AS and AAS. I understand my career pathway way more now. I wish sessions like these were more available.
I attended the Art Gallery Series via their you-tube link at PGCC TV. I thought I knew all about the challenges that artists face, especially on the social or economical stand point, however I was very wrong. I was very surprised to hear the stories the key speakers had about art censorship and art history. I really enjoyed hearing from all the key speakers, their advice for artists wanting to emerge and their own journeys figuring out art were my favorite takeaways from this session.
The session was very informative from the introduction of the SGA student body to the Q&A at the end. The opportunity to hear about the accomplishments of my peers for community college students was very inspiring to me. I can't wait for the next Town Hall at UTC.
