Fayetteville Park, Trail & Street Cleanups: Self Guided & Group

It was great to help clean up Fayetteville!!!!

Was a great Saturday activity and the trail definitely needed it! Enjoyed getting out and being active while helping the planet.

Made the area feel prettier after!

Did 3 hours of cleanup. I cleaned up the perimeter of the lake and picked up lots of plastic bottles and glass. The park areas with gazebos where very littered. There were lots of fishing supplies left knotted up in piles. There were also lots of styrofoam cups as well left by the rocks.

It was my first time doing any type of volunteer work and it felt very rewarding to do so. This is a trail that I live close to and visit regularly and providing some maintenance was very fulfilling.

Made me feel good to be helping the earth and animals around me and was a great way to get outside and be active

There wasn't much trash in this area (at least that's the impression I got)
