On this day I helped sort the clothing closet, served dinner, and helped other volunteers understand how to do certain assignments. The most valuable part of the day was helping one client find clothes that they liked and that fit them.

During this event I filled bottles of shampoo, folded clothes, and helped serve the community meal. The homeless people that receive service from 7hills and the workers at 7hills both benefitted from my services. This experience taught me how many "little" things I take for granted and prompted me to consider what life is like for these people without everyday access to the "little" things.
It was so much fun organizing the clothes and helping fold them!
I had such a great time volunteering this day and learned so much while getting to interact with so many clients. I got to help lots on the service side as well as help with serving lunch since it was Friday!
Today at the 7hilld Day Center I helped out staff preparing food, folding clothes, stocking clothes, and many other ways. Always a great experience at the Day Center!
