The ATL Food Bank was a great volunteering opportunity. We ended up packing over 11,000 pounds of food which equated to over 9,000 meals! It was a great experience and I would definitely do it again!

For this portion of volunteering, I was actually able to interact with people who were picking up food. It was interesting to see how much of an impact Covid had on communities but it was nice to see how food banks adapted and continued to do good, beneficial work. I liked being able to talk to people and relate to them in the areas that I could and just overall provide them with quality customer service. I really enjoyed volunteering with the Atlanta Community Food Bank and I will surely be back.

I had a wonderful experience at the AFB. I spent my hours checking in costumers who were coming to pick of their food for the week. It was very humbling and empowering. Everyone was so sweet! I will definitely be back!

I enjoyed making an impact on local Atlanta families and communities fighting food insecurity. We packed over 9,000 meals and over 11,000 pounds of food.

I really enjoyed my time here! I helped check the expiration dates on items, and made the sure the packaging on the items were secure. I also helped sort and put away food items into their correct boxes/containers. I would definitely volunteer here again!
