It was pretty fun! We talked about how to vote and why is it important!
I learned about the importance of voting in general elections. The first and only time I voted was in the 2020 presidential election. However, elections happen annually, and although the presidential election is important, these "smaller" elections involve voting for things that directly impact my daily life. I also learned about job opportunities and the requirements of becoming an election judge.
In this session, I learned the importance of voting and how it affects everyone in our society.
Very interesting and informative on a matter that isn't really spoken on.
