I enjoyed being able to help set up for this event and meeting the people who were running it. The ladies working it were very sweet, and I could see that they love what they do and are passionate about helping animals. While I was not there for the event itself, I think that this was a great volunteer opportunity to see how the Best Friends organization is making an impact in the community.
I had a great time setting up for the pup crawl! Kaylen Smith and I worked it together, we got a little lost in the beginning but eventually found our way. We mostly helped set up the tent, tables, and flyers for the event. We also helped set up the goodie bags for anyone who donated. I got to pet lots of dogs and meet lots of cool people. I really enjoyed volunteering with them and would do it again.
