It was fun to contribute to the campus in some way while also getting to know my professor on a more personal level. I also got some bonus points of attending which is pretty awesome.

I am helping to organize these events and I have been worried about the state of the green roof on Hillside for several years. Seeing the effort the student organizers and the student volunteers put in makes me optimistic that we are actually moving forward on this and that in a few years we will have a beautiful and sustainable resource for the UofA Campus.
