Amazing Experience working with kids!

I advised my teacher in the radical reader's group. We met with 5th and 4th graders. Each grade read a different book and I helped them with their reading activities.

Today I spent the time with Melanie and helped get the gym set up for an event they had tonight. I had a great time playing games with the students in the cafeteria and playing four square with students in the gym.

My experience at Big Shawty Elementary was very compelling. Today, I was transitioned to the gymnasium where I helped teach students about wrestling/martial arts. Each of the students paired up and competed against each other. Prior to being paired up, the students where taught the basic concepts of the sport of wrestling.

My experience at Big Shawty Elementary was fascinating. I was able to collaborate with the teacher and students on an activity related to Culinary Arts. Each student were paired into groups and was evaluated on the structure of their restaurant. The students used material such as spaghetti sticks, marshmallows, and duct tape to build their structures.
