I absolutely loved my time harvesting produce and bagging it to be given to schools in the Northwest Arkansas area! I grew up in Fayetteville going to Garden Club hosted by Apple Seeds, so this was such a full circle opportunity. I enjoyed being outside and immersed in nature, while knowing that what I was doing was going to feed a student and their family. I will definitely return to Apple Seeds to volunteer in the future!

I had a great time picking vegetables and packaging them for elementary schools in the area! Everyone was very welcoming and they made everything so fun! I would recommend this to anyone!!

It was really fun and eye-opening to volunteer the same time kids were there for a summer camp to learn about produce and how to cook using the ingredients cultivated on the farm. It was amazing to see the primary mission of Appleseeds being conducted in real time!
