The Zoom meeting talked about plans for 2030. The meeting allowed us to give our feedback about the future of PGCC and talk about problems that need to be fixed and goals for the near future.
I had a great time at the discussion panel. It was great to talk about upcoming and new ideas for PGCC in the future. Based on the mission and vision discussed during the session, major positive changes are coming to PGCC by 2030!
The meeting was okay. There were some interesting topics, although it felt like some context was missing. One major topic was the 2030 Strategic Imperatives, where schools/colleges aimed to achieve certain goals by that time, such as a participation rate increasing by 50%, etc.
It was really good, I got to lean about the service, involvement, and leadership opportunities for students like myself in Prince George's Community College's Special Scholarships Program.
I loved the discussion panel. It was great to talk about upcoming or new ideas for the college.
The meeting was very brief. But the one things I really took from it was that the school moving in a direction of more clarity as it comes to announcing campus events, not only through GivePulse for us, and also trying to have more transparency between staff and students.
