Helped restock food items at the Owl Market
The event was good. It was a nice workout lifting boxes and putting it away. The atmosphere was wonderful and welcoming. I also volunteered to place up hotline posters in the bathrooms. I thought that was very helpful to people may come to bathrooms as a way to kind of hide their distress, so having those there may help someone.
I was given a chance to volunteer at the Owl Market. It was fun to meet other students. I was also amazed that those goods will be distributed to UTC and LCC. This is my first physical volunteer involvement here at PGCC, looking forward to doing it again.
My Give pulse volunteer hours can be verified by Dr. Bryant (dlasureb@pgcc.edu ). Thank you!
Came back for the third time and was greeted with sincerity and gratitude from Dr. Bryan and Mrs. Gwen once again! The shipment came a little late around 10, but in the meantime I was putting up posters in bathrooms in Bladen Hall. Even though the shipment was at 10 we got it done efficiently and in a timely manner!
Helped restock food items in the Owl Market
Today, I learned a lot of stuff. It was really great experience to work in this event. I helped spread awareness of mental health by putting two posters in Lanham Hall, on the bathrooms. I also helped in the main event to restock the supplies, the peers and I worked together to stack up stuff for the school and also for UTC and LLC. Overall, it was an amazing experience, it really improved my teamwork skills.
