During this Alternative Break Experience, I went to Wilmington, NC. We volunteered with Habitat for Humanity in which we helped build a house for a homeless family. It was a wonderful experience and I'm so glad I went on this trip. Being able to participate in such an amazing and selfless experience is something I will treasure for a very long time.

Michelle gave to ECU Writes
During the months of October and November of 2019, I participated in ECU Writes. I was assigned an elementary pen-pal. My pen-pal was Malaijah Green. I attended the ECU Writes Orientation and wrote her a total of 4 letters. It was really nice to get to know an elementary schooler who resides in Greenville and I will definitely be participating in this program again. It was an amazing opportunity.
