I once again had an amazing time at rEcess this past Friday night getting to serve the families in our community. I never fail to leave my time with these kids with my cup filled up and a perspective change in my heart. I can't wait until next time I get to serve.

I once again had an amazing time at rEcess this past Friday night getting to serve the families in our community. I never fail to leave my time with these kids with my cup filled up and a perspective change in my heart. I got to be paired with an amazing younger girl who was wheel chair bound. I had to think outside the box on ways to keep her happy and enjoying her time at rEcess. I also had a wonderful time seeing kids that I had seen in the past and growing those relationships. I am looking forward to my next time serving!
Once again, I had the honor of getting to volunteer at 99 Balloons rEcess night. This week looked a little different for myself as I got to be paired one on one with a child at rEcess. As soon as they walked into the door, I was smiling from ear to ear. It was awesome to spend my night living life through their eyes. It was also extremely educational as I saw the challenges and changes that come with having a disability. This night was super life giving for myself, and I am looking forward to next month!
I had a wonderful time volunteering at rEcess for 99 Balloons. It was a honor to spend my Friday night getting to know each of these kids and their siblings on a deeper level while playing with them. I truly believe that every person should spend a night at 99 Balloons to get outside themselves and learn about the uniqueness of others. I got to be a "floater" that night and go around the church to fill in any gaps that were needed to be addressed. I got to play, paint, run with, and engage with all of these kids, and I can not wait until next month.
I had another awesome week at the Child Safety Center in Springdale. I got to help make sure the patients were being assisted while waiting for their appointments, open the front door for the workers that were fixing the door bell, and helped to make sure calls were being answered. The team here is incredible and I am blessed to be able to learn from them each week.
I had an awesome day the Child Safety Center volunteering. I helped to build a shelf for the bathroom, answered phone calls, helped to update the schedule, and lead patients to their dedicated areas. I love being at the safety center and trying to make a differences even in my small way.

I also worked on some requirements that were necessary for working at the center. I love being there!!!

I also helped to build the table for the bathroom at the Center. I can't wait for next week.
