This event was great and very useful. They mentioned some tips on how to apply for scholarships and gave specific examples of some that can be useful, but they gave where to find any as well. I really liked the scholarship guide they created since it really breaks down the process which makes it less stressful to me.

I took a lot out of the event since the whole week I've been researching transferring to another university and the information given out definitely helped me know I'm in the right direction. This has been my first in person event with the scholarship team and I enjoyed it, especially the icebreaker segment since I always like interacting with others. Overall, this has been one of my favorite events with the scholarship and looking forward to more.
This event was a refresher to remind me and other students within the scholarship our responsibilities and what we should look out for. I didn't need the recap that much but the updates from the previous semester was valuable. The lookout for upcoming events and dates were also very much needed and I like how detailed this semester looks so far.
I did learn quite a bit about their programs and their purpose for spreading awareness based on concerns within our community and society around consent, abuse, and overall emotional damage. It's very nice seeing a program dedicated to raise awareness on these issues which provides with those who have gone through and endured those hardships seek a way to get together and realize they are not alone.
