I attended the jersey day and talent show last Thursday. It was hosted in the student lounge. There were many acts, including a step team, music artists, and stand up comedy.
It was fun to attend, and I got a nice PGCC sweater. Also, the podcast was well done, I look forward to watching more.
I couldn't find the event listed, but this was for the 65th Anniversary speaker series with Noor Tagouri, an alumna. I attended the entire event and covered it for the owl newspaper.
The event was informative. I knew a lot about code-switching and imposter syndrome, but it was good to get a refresher.
Attended event as part of PGCCTV's Around Prince George's segment. Interviewed Chef Ashbell and even got to try some Mac n' Cheese!
It was very informative talking to the different schools. I had the opportunity to talk to GWU, Howard, and VSU. The guy from Howard gave me a lot of valuable information regarding their transfer process.
Overall, the event went well. It was good to have an in-person event, I prefer in-person compared to the usual zooms.
I think this event was very informative. I can't remember his name, but the guy with the moustache and locs gave a well-rounded presentation and reinforced my idea of healthy masculinity.
