I know that often times teachers are responsible for providing materials for their classrooms on top of the things they personally need. This can become overwhelming and costly. I am glad that I was able to help lighten this load, even by a little, for an elementary school teacher by donating a coffee mug.

It was interesting to see how donated food is sorted. I never realized that places had to sort foods based off of expiration dates and whether or not the product has peanuts or was made in a factory where peanuts are present. I also never thought about how there are people that have to go through donate clothes and sort them according to size and gender. The entire process of sorting was surprisingly relaxing.

I was excited to donate the triangular crayons because students can use them to color without having to worry about them rolling off of their desk. This innovation is so simple, yet very cool. I'm happy that children will get to use them.
