    Spring Carnival

I really enjoyed working the carnival! I signed up for multiple shifts totaling to 2.5 hours, but I enjoyed working different stations keeping me busy and on my toes. Getting to serve my fellow classmates, friends, and people of the university through such a fun and lively event that honestly no one knew about, or thought would be so fun, was really rewarding. Would 1000000000% come back next year, because I learned it was annually, and work even more shifts!

Lauren @ Student Success Center food pantry drop off

Really fun and easy way to give back to our community while also having that convenience with it being on campus! I was happy to be able to bring in my food and see all the other impacts the other girls in my house were making with also brining in food and watching the storage closet fill up. All the people were really nice and loved that Chi Omega had partnered with them!

    Red Cross Homecoming Blood Drive

I've never been one to shy away from giving blood, so this service was right up my alley. It was super special to be able to hangout with an older chi omega as well that was helping run the blood drive. I signed up for the 12-1 spot, but also gave blood, and then stayed another hour passing out food, drinks, and getting to socialize with other people that were either nervous about giving blood or just people I already knew. All the blood drive workers were also super nice and accommodating to each persons comfort level when it came to giving blood which was super nice to see.

Lauren @ Butterfield Trail Elementary School

I had an absolute BLAST working at the Butterfield Trail Elementary school Fall Festival!! I was a worker at the eyeball monster trot played in the schools gym. It was a joy being able to play and interact with the kids, as well as being able to take a step back from school and everything going on.

    VAC's Student Survey

Volunteering hours especially being in a sorority is such a big part of college life. It's hard to find time amongst all the other things going on to try to find time to give back to our community and campus, so it's nice to be able to make that known on this survey and know that there is a group of people that strive to make it easier for people to venture out and find these service opportunities.

    UARK Student Poll

It was a fast and easy what to give feedback to my campus about problems and concerns that I have as a current student. I liked how they wanted our input about the facilities that we have and what could be changed.

    Campus Lighting Tour

Loved being able to just walk around campus and be more aware of the lengths this campus is going to make sure that everyone feels safe at night wether they walk alone or not.

    Lauren @ Fayetteville public library

I enjoyed working at the JCL Trivia Night hosted at the Fayetteville public library. I was a concessions worker in the back of the room, and helped provide canned drinks, waters, and candy to the servers of each table. This was a way for me to be able to feel more apart of the community of Fayetville especially being from another city and state in general. All the adults in charge of the event were super welcoming and accommodating, and I could not have asked for a better night!

    Morning AM Store Volunteer

I enjoyed being shown around the Habitat for Humanity store located in Fayetteville. Here I learned where all of the items go, and what the store in and of itself is all about, and the greater purpose they serve for the community.
