I had a great time at Plaza De las Américas. LMSA PLUS was able to give out 13 free blood pressure screenings to students and community members while educating the public about their cardiovascular health.

Through the Honors College Pulse on Bad Bunny, I learned more about the messaging behind Bad Bunny’s art and the implications it has on future Latino pop culture. It was very interesting to learn that the Latino opinion on Bad Bunny was not as decisive as I had thought, which showed that Benito’s messaging is polarizing both intra and inter-culturally.
Through the Honors College Book club meetings, I was able to tap into my more creative side, which I often struggle with because of the demanding nature of career path and majors. It was very nice to converse and have critical conversations with honors college faculty and other undergraduate students from very different major and career choices, brought together by their passion for literature.
