Samuel Benarroch

During my time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity, I took part in hands-on landscaping projects in newly developed neighborhoods, including laying sod, planting trees, and preparing outdoor spaces for incoming homeowners. Through this experience, I saw firsthand how important teamwork and communication are, as everyone worked together efficiently and stepped up to solve problems when challenges arose. This opportunity strongly connected to my personal values of hard work and giving back, while also aligning with my interest in contributing to something meaningful that has a direct impact on others. I also gained a deeper understanding of Habitat for Humanity’s mission to provide affordable housing and build stronger communities. Overall, this experience shaped my perspective on leadership by showing me the importance of accountability, collaboration, and creating value for others—qualities I plan to carry into my future in business.
