    Jenelle @ Laurel College Center

This was an event that emphasized the impact that women had in the world, specifically with in music. The guest host Candida Rose was incredible with her choices of influential women within the music industry. With one of the more recent famous singers Beyonce. The showcase presentation was also flawless. Many kudos to her and the Laurel team for putting together the virtual event. I would be happy to RSVP for one of in-person event if it ever happens.

Spring 2024 Campus Partners Transfer Fair

Talking with all the colleges really expanded my horizon on what different programs they all provide. I did notice all the out of state colleges only really provide online programs.

Jenelle @ WOW: Hey Sis! You Are More Than Enough

It was my first in-person WOW event. Was really happy that I went. It was very informative of all the benefits the WOW program provides for the students. To name a few would be college trips, financial aid, routinely tutoring event, and the help each of the coordinators provide for the students. Looking forward towards future events.

Jenelle @ SSP Refresh Session/ Academic Recovery Session

The refresh session went over things that were already said earlier and it helped keep me up to date on what is expected of me within the program. Along with providing us the opportunity to join the different support groups such as TRIO, WOW, and DMSI. I plan to go to the WOW Spring Mixer on Feb. 2 Friday at 5pm. It was brought up in the near the end within the breakout rooms.

    Special Scholarships Program

I donated school supplies to the School Supplie Drive on campus for the Laurel Elementary school. I donated about 30 items, it was 10 items equal 1 hour. It was left at the SMLP lounge in the center of health studies building. Next to the donation box
