I volunteered at this year's ASCE annual conference in Hot Springs. I helped table and check in professionals for the event, as well as present the speakers for the presentations. I got to meet Grady Harvell which was cool.

I helped table during Taste Of The Caribbean event. My job was to spread information about the Multicultural Center on the 4th floor of the student union. During my volunteering I got to enjoy some Caribbean food and interact with others which was fun.
During Path Interview Weekend, I volunteered by walking parents and prospective path scholars from the parking garage to the Honors College. I also, helped by cleaning up and staying for game night with the students. I had fun helping out and getting to talk to future scholars, the parents were also very nice and respectful. I hope I get to do this again next year.
I helped during this years' Soup Sunday. My main task was to help the participating restaurants set up at their respective station. During my shift I met a lot of amazing people and made connections with them. I was also allowed to stay after my shift to try the soups, which were delicious. I had a great time helping out and will try to help again next time the event is held.
I helped out during the MLK day or service, where I mostly helped package food and looked for storage containers. The people hosting the event were awesome and I would probably try and help again next year.
My duty was to sort paper, trash, and weigh the waste vs non-waste. This was a great way to give back to the community and help recycle the trash created by students. The experience was kind of relaxing, so I will probably volunteer here again.
I donated to the MXSA Pantry Donation Drive in order to help those in need. MXSA is a great organization, and as a Mexican, I decided to contribute to them.
We sorted the donated goods for the store; this was fun to do with the other people helping there. It was a great experience to socialize and help participate in Make a Difference Day 2025. I would consider helping out at this store again in the future.
I volunteered to help at the annual ASCE Day of Training. I was stationed at the check in table where I checked the attendees in and also helped them to go where they needed to be. It was interesting to see all the different companies and meet so many cool people. Overall, it was a great experience, and I will most likely sign up to help again at this event.
I attended game night for Path Interview weekend on Friday, and it was fun hanging out with older path scholars as well as being around the future path scholars. The whole night was pretty fun, and I will most likely attend the next couple game night that I will be able to go to. On Saturday I helped as part of the calming team to ease the nerves of the interviewees, it allowed me to really get to know each of them and connect with them better. Lastly, I volunteered my room to be shown to the interviewees and give them my advice about what to bring to the dorm. Overall, being part of Path Interview weekend was a great time and can't wait for the next time.
