    My experience at FCAP was phenomenal! I had the opportunity to work alongside veterinarians and veterinary technicians, gaining valuable hands-on experience. I observed spay and neuter procedures on cats and kittens and assisted with anesthesia administration and paperwork. I also helped administer vaccinations and medications. After surgery, I transported the cats to post-operative care, where their temperatures were taken, ears and bodies were cleaned, and fluids were administered subcutaneously if needed. Overall, it was an amazing experience, and I would gladly return for more volunteer opportunities!
