Day Center Volunteer Sign Up

Today I folded clothes and cleaned bathrooms at 7 hills homeless center. It helped me see how much work goes into maintaining an organization like this, and just how much help a few hours can be for them.

The event at the Day Center was lovely because I got to aid with making people smile on a rainy morning with serving breakfast and cleaning!

I helped make weekend bags full of food, carry in and organize food donation, folded some towel, swept, and broke down cardboard boxes.

Had so much fun! Will definitely be serving here again, amazing people.

On this day I sorted mail, cleaned bathrooms, and picked up trash. The mail service made me realize how great of lengths the workers here go to help those affected by homelessness. They don’t just help with their immediate physical needs but also help them continue their lives and to stay connected.

I carried in food donation boxes, sorted the food donations in the pantry/fridge, and helped hang up and organize clothing room.
