This morning I attended the Running of the Hogs event on campus. I, along with a few others, stood and the start of the course to cheer on those who were starting, finishing, or just passing through. I was at this event throughout the entire thing, and seeing the community come together is this was is truly inspiring. I am glad that I got to take part and give joy and encouragement back to those who were running.

I was there for the set up of this event, and some of us arrived early which gave us a chance to get to know each other. We mostly helped unload and set up equipment for the event. I was not there for the start of the run, but even before I left there were a lot of runners showing up even though the weather was not the best. I think it's an awesome event put on by some great people, and I am glad I got to meet and get to know some of them.
