Seed Day was very Good. I enjoyed it very much from directing Teachers to meeting new people. Dr.Christina is amazing and very helpful.

After arriving, we started a little early at 9:30 to help clean up the breakfast tables. Then, me and my assigned partner went to the CAT building to help assist people around and bring the sign in sheets back to the CPA. After a quick break, we did the same for two more hours.

I volunteered at the seed day event. I was in the lunch group whose job was to arrange and distribute food. I was mostly on my feet working to make sure people got their food. I'm glad that I was able to help people.

I took the lunch service from 10:30 to 12:00 for at least 2 hours and around 30 minutes. I have learned the responsibility that people who take care of lunch go through. For such an organized job it was chaotic when it came to the people who were getting lunch. It was a taxing job to organize, collect, and sort the different types of meals. When there was not more of a specific type of meal I would run to the back where all the extra meals to refill the stations. Communication was also big because we needed to know if there was still more than a certain meal or not so that it would be taken off the list. Ask Christina E. Mitchell for verification.

SEED Day was busy, but it was nice to volunteer for. Since there were a lot of staff members, we did our best to adapt to any changes met during the day and worked as a team. It was also cool to see the diversity within the PGCC staff.

I assisted at the breakfast bar for SEED Day and helped take it down for the presenters. I organized lunch boxes and served them. I was also part of the clean-up. I had a great time volunteering. Dr. Mitchell was very welcoming, encouraging, and amazing. The staff members and volunteer students were also wonderful, and I enjoyed working with them.
