Wonderful! I could not believe my ears. I assisted this event because I love jazz music, and I was not disappointed! My parents and I enjoyed ourselves watching and listening to the two different bands!
I enjoy enjoy every SGA Town Hall as they provide important information, updates, and improvements done around campus, such as new area to get drinkable water, spaces to pray, the starting of recycling plans, etc. Also, they always make mention of upcoming events and projects involving faculty and students.
I truly loved this event. Our names are our personal brand and we must honor it. Social media platforms should be used in a proper manner and keep it professional. Employers look for candidates who have professionalism.
Awesome awesome and more awesome! This event was crucial, i enjoyed hearing the voice of student in regards to transferring to a 4-year university. We usually get the perspective from a transfer advisor, but it is even greater getting to hear the experience from a student. I believe, it let students know they are not alone and pushes students towards effectively looking for the right tools for transferring!
This event put into perspective “Soft Skills,” and how these skills are necessary to flourish in a job and maintain professionalism. I was eager to join this event because I am in the process of applying for jobs and hope to strengthen my confidence and understanding of the workplace.
Ms. Shue an advisor from Towson University walked us through their nursing program and what it takes to get into it and how to apply for it. Additionally, at the end of the session, there was time for answering questions from many students.
This Town Hall was very informative. Some critical questions were brought from last years’ Town Hall. I got to know about the staff of the SGA organization and also from CAB club. Also, special guests were invited to the town hall. I personally did not have a question to ask; however, some other students had questions such as why some quiet places in campus were blocked, as well as opening more places in campus for students to study and have lunch, etc.
The title of this impact explains exactly what the event involved. It included many tips on how to be a good listener, maintain overall cognitive health and well-being, and manage stress in specific situations.
The PGCC Portal has undergone great changes since the very first time I joined the owls. They are great changes, though. Now, everything has its own category. All neat and clean, it is easy to follow through. It is a very up-to-date portal, very innovative. During this event, I learned some things about the website that I did not know, such as how to file a report on technical issues and how to join a club.
