Today was my first day going to the Higher Achievement site. I started by watching the students as they checked and talking to them about their day. Throughout the period, I worked with the sixth graders for homework help and a mentoring block focused on voting.

I did the mandated reporter training for DC. I was able to learn a lot about what the responsibilities of being a mandated reporter are and feel more prepared going into the site soon.
